As many of you know, besides herbs, my other passion is fiber. We
are guardians to a flock of alpaca, goats, and sheep that provide a
fabulous assortment of fiber for spinning, knitting, crocheting, and
weaving. Our animals are treated with love and respect and in turn
we receive the same from them. We do not overburden their systems
with vaccines or with chemical de-wormers. Our first line of care
is with herbs (of course!), but do what is best for the particular
animal and the situation. We are honored to share their fabulous
fiber with all of you.
These are some of our animals that provide fiber for our roving
and yarn:

Soldier's Friend
My husband, Troy turned these beautiful
reproductions of an antique tool. They were created during the
Civil War and sent along with soldiers as they left for war, to
repair their uniforms. They make wonderful gifts for
a traveler, college student, or for your favorite needlworker/stitcher.
Please note: They do not
come wrapped with thread or with needles. That way
you can choose the appropriate thread/yarn and needles for your
projects.
